CHAPTER ETERNAL – JOSEPH A. PERSICHETTI, BETA PI ‘64

It is with deep regret and sadness to report the passing of Joseph A. Persichetti, Beta Pi ’64.

During his time at Beta Pi, Joe was a friend to all and a leader of the fraternity. He was greatly loved by his fraternity brothers who have described him as “easygoing”, “always being in a good and pleasant mood”, and “Pleasant smile, pleasant good humor, pleasant all around”. All he knew will miss him” and “It’s a shame to lose him”.

A friend to all, he always made himself available. His popularity within the fraternity culminated in his election as Vice President during his senior year alongside his close friend and President of the chapter, John Boccabella ’64.

After graduation, brother Persichetti received a DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) and specialized training in Orthodontics from Penn. He practiced dentistry for many years but always had time to enjoy the Jersey shore and cherished his family.

Our sincere condolences are extended to his wife MaryAnn, his children Anna Huckaby and Joseph A. Persichetti Jr. and their spouses, his grandchildren Finley and Jaxson, his brother Arthur, his sister Bernadine, and to all other family members and friends.
